I had a different brand on my '70,but it was great! You could lock it up and keep stuff out of sight and dry.I would also prop it up and throw a tarp over it.Instant motel room.

Im guessing that the cover wont fit if you have the chrome rails off and the "lip" they clip to shaved off. :-( Is it possible to mount it a little lower? I have never seen a bed cover in person for the elky so i dunno.

No modifications are needed. You install the drain, the struts, and the hinges and the bed can be removed easy when you need to put something back there that is larger than the bed lid would normally allow.

You can paint to match and they make one that is textrured also(Non-Smooth)

I have hard tonneau and it has two ridges down the back so it is not smooth. I don't have pictures because i'm painting it and I don't have before pictures. It appears the thing has some years on it because of all the cracks I have to fill.
