Got pics of my Twin Turbo SS on page 13 of the 5th Gen Album site. Hope you enjoy them. I'm in the process of recovering from open heart surgury (artifiacial valve) and can't wait to drive her again. I really love this website. Nice bunch of people. Take care.

Hey Bill. I looked at the pic's. Looks awesome. Must be a real experiance to drive that Elky. I would love to be able to do that to mine. Maybe down the road.....
Take it easy and recover soon. I'm sure that stuff takes a while to heal (the heart stuff, not the elky stuff).

Howdy Bill, which valve (maker) did they install?

Not sure what brand of valve thay used on my heart but the little sucker sure is noisy. Takes a while to get used to. At least I know if it's tickin', I'm kickin'. The recovery is a real bummer. Can't drive 'til the end of April but I may cheat on that. Thanks for the thoughts.

Was curious. My big bro is a biomedical engineer. Has been working with artificial valves, (research and design,) for years. He holds a few patents on testing apperatis and polymer coatings. Walk in to his lab and all you hear is several valves flapping away in the testing devices.

WOW 8O Bill, got a body rush when I saw that motor! I think you better change your name to WildBill. I'm sure you'll get plenty of enjoyment oughta your Elky, in the meantime listen to your doctor. Did he say he doesn't want you driving anything until the end of April, or just your Elky? I know driving something like your Elky would be to much excitement for me! :D

I recently bought my first El Camino and just joined this board. I'm blown away by your car. If you're ever in Seattle and want to work on a '78 I'm looking for a restoration mentor.... :) Hope you're recovery is going well.
