Can anyone point me to relatively cheap bumper-to-bumper protective cover for an '82 Elky? Car is always garaged so I am just looking for a light duty cover designed for a truck to keep the dust and spyder footprints off.

Thanks - Jim

Hey Jim. I got my cover OPG. It is a "NOAH" cover. It fits the Elky perfect and is nice and soft on the underside. Perfect for in the garage protection. A little pricey though.
I saw another one that might fit your bill at OPG nylon cover (http://www.opgi.com/VCProdFrame.asp?vyear=0&group=17639). Is that what your looking for??

Jay - thanks for the info. I had not looked at OPG - must have lost my bookmark. The nylon would work. I have a similar one on my one Corvair and keeping dust off is about all it it good for. I think I bought that one at K-Mart for about $15. Not sure how they figure it will work on all the models mentioned as a Malibu certainly doesn't have a bed. Unless they sell Elky owners a giant XXXL that would probably cover a motorhome.

I have Spring Carlisle coming up in a couple weeks and may just wait and see what the ever present vendors there have to offer. I have also gotten some decent car covers at Odd Lots (or is it Big Lots?) for $15.99 and heavier than the nylon type. I even have a new extra one but it just isn't big enough for the Elky. (At that price I bought 4)

One other thing I forgot to mention. Before I put the cover on, I have this small inflatable pool "pillow". They are not much money at most pool places. They are used on pools to prevent the pool liner from getting damaged from frozen ice.
Anyway, I put the inflated "pillow" in the bed and then put the cover on, that way the cover doesn't sag into the bed.
