Ok thats fine I would agree with that , I came to this forum because I love el caminos but if you are going to hack on the ford post can you also hack on the religous posts , the other posts that have vehicles other than elkys etc , because there seems to be a lot of posts that are not about el caminos.

great deal, ya and the issue about it being a ford, well a ranchero is similar to an el camino, just not as reliable cuz a ford(trust me i also own a ford although it is an explorer), and it not as cool cuz its not an elky

The reason Chevy made the el camino was to compete with the Ranchero that was made by Ford . In all actuality there probably wouldn't be el caminos if the ranchero was never made . Though we all agree the El camino is a million times cooler

State of Ca is really odd about cars not running.
They want them registered whether they are running or not.
If not running it is a different "registration", and if you do not keep a "NON-OP" on them, you or the new owner can be heavily fined when it does become drivable.

And to you folks out there that refuse to believe there is any other car besides the ElCamino----STAY OUTTA THE THREADS.

Perhaps more than one of us have varied interests.
I have 4 Chev, 2 Fords, and a Dodge, so I am open to just about anything.
(2 Chevys, 2 Fords and the Dodge are registered and insured to drive)

In my world O.P. means (order parts)

I have to agree as alot of us have other cars besides our beloved elkys
that we use as DD. I know I am new here but I fore one do not mind
hearing about other cars just do not make it a habit LOL
