Looking for the smoothest, yet best handling ride for my 67 Elko frame-off restoration. Don't expect to carry heavy loads. Handling and smooth ride is priority. Have rear anti-sway bar but not installed. What should I install?

Gas shocks with air bags in the springs and you have the best of both worlds. Put the rear sway bar on too.

Gas shocks come in a pretty wide selection... not sure how many for your application though. I'd contact napa, ask for the number to their monroe help desk (widest range of covered vehicles). They can give you some info on your options both gas and air and the benefits for each available for your set up. also I know that for the next month at least, firestone is offering buy 3 get 1 and napa is matching that. so you buy two, you get two. You also get to try them out for a set period and if you don't like them, you get to switch them up at no cost. not sure the duration of the "trial". Something you'd want to clarify up front if you went that route.
handling and smooth ride are a tough balance to get and depend a ton on you other suspension components as well as shocks. dynamics of the sway bars are key, the spring package is key, the bushing material, even tires.

Best set of Gas Shocks I have ever had over the years is Two sets of Edelbrock IAS Shocks!!! They are a little more money But man do they ride and handle NICE! I am pulling the Bilstiens off my 67 Frame Off and putting Edelbocks on it too. BTW nice to see another 67.

+1 on the Edelbrock IAS. Come with dust covers, too.
