So, it looks like the wire that powers the rear pass marker light is powered by a wire that goes under the seat. I'll by d*ammed if I'm pulling that seat just to fix one wire. Think I run a new wire instead. :let_it_all_out: And hows bright idea was that anyway. :poke:

Jessica,
Are you sure that wire isn't in a little black plastic sleeve under the carpet, mine was sorta close to the door, had several wires in it, I assume to protect them. Good news is that no matter what, it won't be a huge deal to fix.
Good Luck, have a GREAT WEEKEND.

That wire, light brown or tan, should be in the black plastic loom which runs along just inside the doorway, along the floor edge, and the wire comes up in front of the front door post to the dash. Unless it was moved at some time earlier. There is a wire that runs under the seat though, for the seat belt switch used in those years, but mine runs under from the driver's side. ( or it did earlier) I just put all that wiring back in mine this summer.

Careful----lt brown or tan will be the fuel sender wire

Brown is the wire for the taillights & side markers
Yellow for the left brake/signal
Green for the right brakes/signal
and maybe lt green for the backups
