If nothing else try your local Library a lot of them have service manuals and will let you copy the page for a small fee.
I have a Chilton and it shows one for 1982 and I don't know if it is the same for 1981!

I believe what your talking about is the MAP sensor. I forgot to ask do have an emissions sticker on the radiator shroud if so that may have the vacuum diagram on it like mine does. From there it's a matter of indentifing what sensor is what. I would down load a picture but my connection speed is so slow most pictures will time out before their done sorry.
That sticker should be right on the top driverside of the shroud.

thanks I found the sticker. I think one is a map sensor from what the sticker shows but I don't think its the right one for this car. Also right next to it is another part thats identical except for the part# but no hose is connected to it. i have attached two pics I took. if you have any ideas i would really appreciate it. thanks

I'm sitting here looking at a Chilton manual #28440 and on page 4-32 is a drawing that shows what looks a lot like both of those and the connectors are listed as the MAP sensor is connnected to the red connector and the blue connector is connected to the BARO sensor. Does this help?
