Just wanted to say hello. I'm glad I found this place. I've been an Elky addict since I rode in my dad's 72 SS when I was 5 yrs old. I currently own 2 77 Elkys (one parts, one project thats barely started :-( ) I've spent a lot of time on other auto forums, and I'm looking forward to learning a lot here!

Welcome to ECC/NECOA Glenn!
There's plenty of 4th gen owners who would love to have that 77 parts car of yours. The unavailability of 4th gen spares is well known.

Welcome to the site, it's good to see another 4th gen joining. Post some pics if you get a chance, and yeah, how about that parts car...... 8O

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone. :D I'll post up some details on my current stable of Elkys when I have more time (meaning when I'm not supposed to be working! )

hey I thought that I would say welcome to the club. I have a 78 and a 79 elky and they both are great. I had a parts 79 however that didn't last long cause all the parts came off and went to the big car lot in the sky however the parts on parts car is invaluable. Have fun with this site

Yes, I'm really looking forward to picking peoples brains! :D Of course, feel free to pick thru the shattered remains of my brain if you wish. :P I've been an elky fan since I was 5, and an owner of at least one since age 16. I'm currently on my 3rd 4th gen, and I still have the first one (the one I drove in high school back in '87) as well. If I make the fortune I will need to support my car habit, I hope to finish restoration of the '77, find and restore a 70-72 SS, and have a 5th gen SS for a daily driver/ ski boat hauler! Hey, if you don't dream big, you'll never get there! :)
