The front fenders on my 1970 El Camino are not correct. I see that both Goodmark and Original Parts Group have replacements. Which one has the best fitting fenders for my car?

Goodmark probably supplies OPGI with the fenders...so most likely your looking at the same fender. As to whether they're any good or not, I couldn't tell you, some of Goodmarks stuff is being made overseas. You might want to consider looking/finding used OEM fenders and restoring them if your worried about quality and fit...originals made by GM would be more of a sure thing. I'm not saying the Goodmark fenders aren't going to suit your needs...I don't know, but OEM are usually better quality than repops when it comes to fit...especially if they're made overseas.

I bought new fenders far my 81 and they would not fit with out having to rework them. They all come from China. And I would think that they or all made at the same place. So I would buy the cheeps one and plan on having to rework them. And if you cam find good GM finders I think you would be happier with them.

If your in NC then go to www.dixiemontecarlo.com and see what they have. Goodmark is usually not too bad. No matter what, all aftermarket fenders will need some kind of work but sometimes not much.
Where in NC are you located?
