OR HAS ANYONE MADE ANY MODIFICATIONS TO THE FACTORY SETUP WHERE THE ARMS WILL PARK ALL THE WAY DOWN ? 87last1 04-07-2004, 06:04 PM Hi Ray, Sometimes you can get them down a little more by loosening the two adjusting nuts on the arm that bolts to the back of the motor than move the blade down to the stop and retighten the nuts. Terry Robby85 04-07-2004, 09:42 PM The wipers on my '85 do not return to the recessed position. I assumed it was because of the aftermarket wipers? Are they supposed to? I can manually move them down until the wiper rests on stop. Someone else reply on this. Thanks Robby qball52 04-08-2004, 09:04 AM My wipers did the same thing. I bought a set of winter blades from a small parts store, installed them and noticed they didn't park. come to find out, they were 2" too long. The sales person gave me wipers that were 18" instead of 16' and of course, I didn't find this out till it was too late to return them. :evil: | ||
