I've got a paint booth reserved for Wednesday the 14th. I'm planning on doing bodywork steady until Tuesday to work out whatever flaws I can find.

I'm at a loss for what color I want. Seems around here there are plenty of ALL colors. I haven't seen any Bright Orange (similar to Hugger) or Burnt Orange Met (Sienna) so those are the colors I'm leaning towards the most. Paint will be solid, one color non-2-tone. I'll be buying paint on Tuesday, April 13th.

What is your interior color going to be ? Some people try to either compliment or contrast to their interior color. I've just recently seen a maroon and silver two tone and considering my interior is maroon, I thought that this would be a good scheme for my '85. Plus, it just looked great. But, the key is to experss yourself and have fun, so pick the color you like the best.

I personally like a Sparkling Metallic Gold but i have seen that electric orange metallic on a Pontiac and some new imports (Nissan Z, among others) and it looks very nice. In fact i was going with that color until i saw my Gold color.

There is one on eBay that is the Burnt Orange. I was originally going to go gold but that is pretty close to what it is now and there are a few around here that color.

My interior is Brown and I'm sticking with it so I can go with pretty much any color I want. Got the dash cap and need to make adjustments for that as well. Carpet came in the mail a few days ago as well.

Actually I'm pretty scared to shoot that Burnt Orange Met since I've gotten a bit retarded behind a spray gun before with metallics but maybe I'm better now.

Today I shot some primer and noticed a few dings I overlooked before so I'll fix those tomorrow. Overall it's been a straight car to work with, a real pleasure.

Also got the tires today and like a retard I got too big for the front I think (no, I'm pretty sure) but I am planning on doing a small enclosed matching trailer so I may keep the worng tire to put on matching rims. The tires were a VERY good price so it's not all bad. The matching trailer is another reason I lean towards the Hugger Orange.
