On my 66 el camino I have allot of + camber due to cutting my front springs 1" to give it a 2" drop. Now if I get a camber gauge from summit racing and some shims what would i do next because I can't use the factory specs how do I know what degree to position the wheels? would it be zero degrees? Any help on this matter would be great.

Since it's too far for you to drive to my alignment shop,:smileyb: here goes:
0 camber will be fine.
Just don't use more than 3/4" shim thickness to get it. More than 3/4" total thickness per bolt, or more than 1/4" difference in shim thickness between front and rear shim location on the same arm (for caster) and you run the risk of the bolts flexing, then loosening and having the shims fall out.
If you can't get the camber and caster where you want it using these guidelines, send me a P.M. and we'll discuss your options.
I hope this helps.
ps; you want as much positive caster as you can get.

thanks SoCal Elk I will be ordering a gauge soon to do my alignment and will contact you if i have any questions. When you said don't use more then 3/4" shim do you mean in addition to the amout of shims I already have on? or no more then a total of 3/4" shim on front and rear? Thanks again for the fast response.

No more then a total of 3/4" shim on front OR rear, including your old shims.
