What's 2+2 when it comes to cars? I always see things like mustang with the 2+2 and I think I've seen 2+4. I'm just curious but can't find anything on it

Mustang 2+2 means 2 front bucket seats and a fold down split rear seat for 2. 2+2

Dab, on older muscle cars they called them "2+2" because they seated 4 people (if you've ever sat in the back seat of a 65 mustang you might argue that point) but, that's all it means. 2+2 seating.

Ah ok I got it now! I always thought it was a motor option or something like that lol but Idk where I saw 2+4 then! Maybe I was just imagining it

On some Chevys the 2+2 it meant 2 in the front and 2 in the back it also indicated a drivetrain package. The 1975 or 76 Monza 2+2 was supposed to be a 350 motor but if you didn't order the car you had to make sure the 350 was there because if the 350 wasn't available they stuck what ever was handy and altered documents to fit.
