Hi all,I needed to know if a powersteering pump from an 84 Z28 would work on my 78 el camino? would the threads on the line that screw into the steering box be the same?

Can anyone help me out?????

The threads will be different. You should be able to use the threaded part from your 78 that will bolt into the Z28 pump. I used a 86 MC SS pump on my 78.

Thanks Tommy,Do you mean that large nut from my old p/s pump or the lines them selves?

The large nut will bolt to the new pump so you can use your old lines.
