I wanted to get some opinions on this I have a 5th gen and was wondering if it would be worth the effort to remove the door panels prior to having the windows tinted ? Is there that much room between the inside felt on the door panel and where the glass and track meet together ?

I didn't when I had mine done and it turned out just fine. You have to pull back the felt in order to see the end of the tint. Just make sure you find a good shop that will warranty their work, especially the back window. I had to look for awhile to find a shop that would gurantee the back window would not peel or bubble.
