I have a 71 El Camino that needs a cowl grill, screen. Now they offer two different cowl grills, with and with out air conditioning.
My car is an A/c car but not having one to base my decision on which one to get, can someone tell me the difference between the two.
Also what was the right bolts (screws) to put back in?

Does anyone even have a pic of a cowl screen to help me decide which one I should get? :poke:

Does anyone know what screws or bolts that are suppose to go into the grill. It seems no one that I can find offers this specific screw or bolt I need.

Not sure about screw size or type, it's been 2-3 yrs since I took my grille off to paint. But if I remember right the cowl screens snapped in and had a screw for AC applications that I never put in. Check sites like OPGI or NPD for pictures.

I think the only difference is the raised bump in the mesh on the passenger side where the vacuum actuator is located.

Mine just snap in place, though rather badly.

Where did you get yours from?
