GM generally sets the pinion angles at about 2* and good racing pinion angle is around 5*.
Did you box in your lower control arms? Do that and add a rear sway bar and if your so inclined then you could even add a canard arm on to the differential like Pontiac grand national. Or go after market with the control arms. Something you can adjust. Get a good brand it can be the difference between having fun and working on the truck all the time.
Also consider preloading the rear axels. You can do this with air shocks but they make an airbag kit that goes inside the rear springs that will do the trick and you can get rid of the air shocks for something much better.
Just a thought.

First things first, replace all your upper and lower control arm bushings, rubber is fine, polyurethane is ok but contrary to popular belief not a must.
I replaced all my bushings with new rubber ones and do not have any wheel hop issues. I more recently added KYB gas adjust shocks, "Drag Bags" , boxed the control arms and also added a rear sway bar, launches and handling have greatly improved.
