You could not ask for better weather, or location, for this weekend of events! Thanks to the host car club (South East Rods and Customs), and to the museum owner and staff, for the hospitality to all participants! The only shortfall was that the Quarterdeck Restaurant location for Saturday nights cruise is just too good of a place to eat and some unknowing cruise participants could not even get seated to find out for themselves. The show featured over 300 cars and trucks and the included passes to the two museums was an incredible added bonus for any car enthusiast!

Seven members attended the pre show cruise on Saturday and 'Camino' row was at six for the show (post and pic on NECOA Facebook page). There were 2 or 3 other non-member show participants parked elsewhere on the grounds. Congrats to Skinyfisher for another plaque for his stack!

Hope all had safe travels back home and waiting to hear excuses from the 'no show' Carretera...:dontknow:

piggy back time on randy's post

Lenny and I stayed around after the group left so Lenny could video the cars leaving the show. I talked with the leader of the host club and the count was 320 registered 48 club cars and approx 60 plus cars that showed up after registration was closed but entered to donate to the fund, that's cool. As Randy said one great show for a first year and the museum cars are a real worth while trip to see.

Here is the link to the show pictures 300 plus

Congrats again Jay.
Remember when 300+ pictures would be 40 rolls of film????
Thanks for the show memories.

So that is over 420 cars alltogether! Yes that would be a lot of rolls of film. I think Kodak closed their last film developing place down just earlier this year. I need more practice with my new point and shoot camera. I took 109 pics but quite a few came out lousy.
