I have seen on corvette sites that they make a switch for automatic transmission cars that switches between preset shift timings made specifically for vettes. I was wondering if such a thing exists for the el camino?

That switch is for electronically controled automatic trans (ie 4L60E) and not for any trans that was OEM in an El Camino. Do not confuse electronically controlled trans with the electric lockup torque converter on some TH400R4 trans.

I have a 4L60E in my LT1 Elky. I also installed a switch to change between the normal and performance shift tables in the PCM.
