This is my grill i have been working on. Keep in mind that the facia and grill are far from complete and imperfections will be fixed. This is just to have an idea of what it will look like. Give me your opinions, specialy if you dont like it at all.
My image host is down so ill just give you the website.

It looks slightly out of proportion but after its on the car with a tucked bumper painted to match the car. The grill will be painted black and the front polished to a chrome-like shine...just like any other billet grill.

I salute your enthusiasm. Have you considered covering the headlites with the tubing and letting them shine thru the grille?

GOOD JOB! I like it! :P
No complaints here. Can't even give constructive critisism. One point is those headlights cost a buttload more than the regular size type (if those are those tiny Pontiac ones). That's just the cheapskate in me talking though.

Looks good to me. But i would prefer the grille to be up to the headlights not under them. Just me.

Your talking about a "phantom" grill right? I thought about that but they are pretty common too. I like them but i just want something different.
Those headlights are from a 93-97 camaro. Took me all day to cut the mounting brackets down and get them mounted. I wish i could get them closer together but thats the best i can do. I may fiberglass some kind of dividers and have them chromed and put inbetween the lights.
Car has 81 cabllero body, 84 camino firewall, 81 mote carlo dash, 93 camero headlights, later model el camino facia, 96 cadillac taillights, gran national rear-end...and im FAR from finished. Hoping to put some 76 corvette door handles on the inside of the "slope" by the rear window on each side and shave the original handles. Also wish i had the new Toyota Prius (sp?) electric A/C compressor.
Interior will have custom designed door panels and seat (custom coverd rather) Cant decide on the guages yet though.
You can follow my progress on my website. Its all up to date right now but i want to warn you that progress is SLOW.
Thanx for the compliments guys. Nothing like guys that appreciate my hard work, especialy on an El Camino 8)
