I just bought a tilt column (auto on the column) for my '70. Any special tricks to swapping it out?

Ok well Iam new at this but when I started to take out my out one I was told that I had to take that dash out to get to some of the bolts that connect it to the fire wall. I have not done mine yet cause I still am lost in what else to do but theres a start.

The only "trick" that I know of is that the electrical connector needs to be turned 180 to get it to match up. To make that more clear :? what was north is now south & what was south is now north. Compare the two once removed & you'll see the diff. The dash wiring harness cable has plenty of length to turn.

Thanks, guys. From what you've told me and looking at it closely, doesn't look like much of a job. Now I just have to wait until it arrives.
