81snopro 10-31-2010, 05:41 PM I'm new to this thread although I'm 65 years old. I've been a hot rod/street rod/restorer and hemi guy all my life. here's my '59. It has the original 283/2barrel V8. It has a rare "dealer" installed Chevrolet cool pack underdash air conditioner that blows ice cold. It was restored with only 1 quarter sized hole in the floor at the rt. rear seat corner. Most of the body mouldings are N.O.S. GM as is the push button radio I just installed, grille and dog dish hubcaps. The parts were gathered over a several year period. Fortunately , the car has flawless black Deltron painted over a flawless body. I installed a '60 seat cover and door panel set as I wanted the black/white houndstooth look.
