Well, Just got back to the Great White North from a visit to Tucson. I have to say that I saw more Elkys in one weeks time then my whole time in Calgary. You folks south of the 49th sure are blessed. Just about twisted my head of more than once :D . I also managed to chance upon a small car show in Bisbee. All around it was a great little vacation and thanks for great presence of Elkys. Any canucks who've never been I highly recommend it, it's a great city. Just my 2 cents and my thanks. :-D

I rarely see nice Elky's in Calgary, Most of the ones I see are rusted out or just plain tired including mine. I don't understand why they are not more popular being Calgary is "Truck" country.....lots of crap driving around with wings and clear tail lights though!

It's true Howard, most of our Elkys are workhorses and treated pretty poorly. Mine too has cancer on the doors and fenders but I believe I can save her and plan to. maybe some of us should find a way to bring up some U.S. Elky to help us save some more of ours. Any thoughts?

If only the sheet metal wasn't so expensive for the 5th generations...$505. Cdn for an 80% 1/4 panel and $361. per side for floor pans is a bit much. But because I'm a car nut and really want a cherry El Camino When I finish....I will probably pay the price :-(
Once in a while I find a cherry set of floor pans at pick your part but never have the saw handy, they don't allow any tools that generate sparks there.
The spring car show only had 1 68 396 Elky and a chopped 57 Ranchero.
Lots of other nice toys though
