awesome. i should have done this a long time ago. seems like this is going to be fun. what a difference. tons more tq & the o.d. trannt cut the rpm's down alot. all went well except a leaky back plate on the waterpump and one fan is out. cant wait to get a day off & fix these things & use this el camino.

Sounds like a good swap. Tough to beat an OD trans and a strong engine.

Way to go man, get the bugs worked out and then drive it like you stole it! I jut got my new motor in, going in for a dyno tune on Saturday. Wish it wasn't the end of the season, I'd like to get some behind the wheel time in before it snows.
