I am starting this thread to give ECC / NECOA members a heads up for this event.

Pyramid Shriners Car Club together with G-Force Motorsports present their 4th Annual Fall Car and Truck Show. Oct. 3rd 2004 w/ rain date of Oct. 10th 2004.
Place: Orange Fair Grounds , Orange Center Rd. (rt. 152), Orange , CT.
Over 400 car's and more than 1500 spectators. New this year is a Swap Meet. 10'X20' spaces starting at $20.00 each. They are looking for good clean vendors of all types.

Good afternoon everyone,
Just wanted to keep you all informed of the 4th Annual Fall Car and Truck Show presented by the Pyramid Shriners Car Club w/ G-Force Motorsports. Held at the Orange Fair Grounds, Orange Center Rd (Rt 152), Orange, CT.

Our very own Region 2 member Bill Svetz is a member of the Pyramid Shriners.

On site Chassis Dyno - more room=more cars... Food, Entertainment, door prizes, vendors. Goody bags & giveaways donated by G Force Motorsports. Dash plaques and goody bags to the first 300 cars. Pre -Registration guarantees a dash plaque.

38 Judged Classes, 3 trophies in each class plus special awards... Best in Show and Selectman's Award

Vendors must be pre-registered. Vendor setup 7-9 am only.

Open to Hot Rods, Street Rods, race cars, classic's & customs, trucks, custom 4X4 big and small. This show has a five "Truck" classes that El Camino's can go in along with some "production" and "muscle / modified" classes. Your call on what class you want to enter.

Sunday, October 3rd, 2004. Rain date of October 10th. Registration is 8:30 -11:00. Judging starts at 11:00AM SHARP! General admission is 9:00am to 3:00PM. Awards at 3:00. Entrance fee is $10.00 ($7.00 pre reg.).

Anybody else planning on attending? Dian and I will make the trip down from MA for this show. Supposed to be good weather, maybe a little cool, but hey, it is fall in New England.

Anybody from the New York area going to attend? It seems to be close to you guys. I think it is by Bridgeport.

This was a very good show. Over 500 show cars, vendors, food, monster trucks, and a chassis dyno. We will attend this show next year for sure.

Got to see ECC / NECOA member Bill and his wife Marie, who were working the show as members of the Pryamid Shriners. Great seeing them again.

Also finally met another Region 2 member David Kozy and his fuel injected 396 Elky. Talked about Elky's and cars and took the show tour taking pictures. Good meeting you David. I sent you an email with the Word documents I mentioned.

This could have been the last show of the season for Region 2 members. We will have to make plans to attend more shows next year.
