Here's the situation...

79SS, 383 Stroker, 700R4 and 3:83 out back...
And at 65 I'm not going to race it...Well may get on it a little from time to time.

That said I'd like to replace the original rear control arms, upper and lower, with some reasonably price aftermarket units. Having read all the posts there seems to be lot's of posts but no clear winner.

So the question is...What are the top 2 suppliers out there that sell a reasonably priced set of control arms for the application I've described ??

And for my application is a rear sway bar even necessary?
HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE

Check website for hrpartsnstuff.com

They will have what you need

don't forget to look at the bushing installation tool. worth its weight.

UMI has a reasonable set........ Although if yours are in good shape I would just take them off and box them up with some metal that should be pretty stout for occasionally spirited street driving. BTW I think all UMI stuff is 15 precent off for the holidays!

I have a welder and ability to box my existing arms but part of my motivation is to improve the "look" of the whole assembly. Probably not the best reason but it's our Elky!

I got mine from this guy on Ebay. He makes these high quality parts himself for much less than the name brand products. :dontknow: http://motors.shop.ebay.com/pitqueen/m.html

I bought only the uppers, and that was to be able to adjust the pinion angle on the rear end. With a stab bar bolted in the lowers, the whole arm cannot be boxed in, but I suppose every little bit helps....
