Seems almost sinful to consider running Chinese made wheels on an El Camino but they sure look nice on the web site. (www.rev-wheels.com (http://www.rev-wheels.com)) Anyone running the 100 Classic Chrome or the 100 Classic Silver (charcoal centers) ??? What is their quality rating if "1" is run for cover and "10" is I can't believe they are this good!!

Sad...but these days it's kinda hard going through life and trying not to buy Made In China products...I just checked the tag in my underwear...guess where they were made...I was wondering why they were wearing out faster?

I agree Ken, and I travel on business throughout China extensively.
If the average American had the opportunity to see the quality, size, and scope of their manufacturing capabilities it would scare the hell out of him.
By the way...I sell stuff in China... Not import it !!!!

Back to the wheels though, I really can't tell you if those wheels are any good or not, but I have bought quite a bit of stuff from Ebay vendors out of Hong Kong of which a few were auto parts...it's hit or miss on the quality but you generally get what you pay for...if that helps.

i have had a set of rev wheels, and i know a few people that have them. i was happy with them, good made, only problem i had was when i got them the paint was chipped up bad ,and seems like it was dull in some places and shinny in some. luckily i knew someone who did powdercoat and redid them for me. other than that,i think there are good quality. other guys i knew where very happy and thats been like a year and wheels still look gret

Hello ALAsh
Just a note. When I was in the custom wheel business approx 14 mo's ago, we sold Rev wheels. Never had one problem other than customer trashing one. Very well built and our distributor alway's could supply what we needed.

This may or may not be a surprise but all the running line Chrome wheels are made in
China.
I run FOOSE wheels and guess what they are made in CHINA so check out the milling and the chrome work and do what you like but if the truth is told more than 90% or the wheels come from there. This I was told by several MFG's at SEMA. Custom and Billet are different than the production wheels.

The average American is much too busy watching televitz to ponder or care what's going on in America, let alone China. I'm sure media commentators will just continue to instruct the average American what to think, but it won't be anything about the fact that these traitors, who are our "controlled" elected officials, both Republicans and DIMocrats, have sold out America and the American people.

Kinda tough to get through life anymore if you worry about where things are made. If it's good quality I don't care where it's from. It's a global economy nowadays. And yes I understand the effect it's had on our economy, and everything else, I am but one man, there's not much I can do about that!
