Did 4th gen's have a floor console option?
Would a 3rd gen floor console fit?
Have any 4th gen owners installed a floor console between the swivel buckets?
I am going to install a B&M ratchet shifter and want a full length console to complete the look.

I had a fiberglass custom console made off E-Bay, hasen't arrived yet but pictures look promising. Cost varies by design/detail...try ta keep ya posted....

73, I did a TCI outlaw shifter w/ cover and no console; turned out spiffy! Dale

One of my '73s has the original SS console with newer swivel bucket seats. You will need to make sure the console is narrow with the standard seats.
If you are using an aftermarket shifter, the plate over the original shifter may not work and you will have to fabricate a boot. You may loose the shift indicator.
Almost any console will work but you need to match it up with the seats and the position of the shifter cutout. Watch out for hand brake cutouts in the newer units.
These two cents brought to you by somebody that has been there.

i have a center console from a 3rd gen that i am getting rid of, it will hold the b&m hammer shifter quite nicely, including the shift indicator. pm me if youre interested
