I've had my 86 el camino since december, and i want to change its wheels, they're pretty boring. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for what might look awesome on and 86 elky. The car is two toned, gray and maroon. Thanks for any suggestions!

Try this site.

Wheel Simulator (http://www.autowaretech.com/swonline/spts_car.htm)

You can see how different wheels look on any car including an El Camino.

if i had to choose, i'd go with either torq thrusts, or Z06 wheels

Anyone running Z06 wheels on a 5th gen Elky? Like to see a pic.

I am partial to Billet Specialties and Eagle Alloys. I chose the Eagle AM 203s for the 76 and the Billett GT93s for the 80. Both are two piece polished Aluminum Alloy wheels. The Eagles are off the shelf and the Billet wheels are custom ordered.

The original ralley rims for a 79 are 14X6. I like the look of them too. I used to have them with 205/75/14 white-walls on my 80 El Camino.

I have the set that was on my 80 SS when I got it. The center caps and the trim rings are gone. I also have a partial set that came on the 72 Custom 400. I think one is actually a Pontiac rim. Missing the same stuff.
