Question:
Do these work pretty well if you get the hose that they recommend for them?

They say 250 psi. I've never used anything without a standard type of hose clamp before.

First ---- Reread what it says !!
It's not a question of "IF YOU USE THE HOSE THEY
RECOMMEND" !
You MUST use the recommended Hose !!
I quote "Designed for fuel, oil, and water lines (not brake, nitrous, or power steering systems), these fittings must be used with Push-Loc or Twist-Lok hose. "
As to if they will work to your satisfaction, I can't answer that.:dontknow:

I am going to give them a try.
I ordered a 10ft piece of the "must use" hose.

Give us a report on your findings as I'm sure there will be others,
myself encluded, as to the quality, and functionality of these
fittings.

I 've used these on fuel and trans lines for several years; no problems and no leaks. Do not over-tighten.

I have used them on fuel and oil cooler lines with no problems. Soapy water or silicon spray will make putting the ends together a whole lot easier.

I got the parts today.
I put one on and it was easy. So easy in fact that it seems odd that it is advertised at 250psi with just a spring type clamp. I'll give it a shot though. I won't be firing this engine for a month or 2.
Their "push loc" hose is Gates LOL Plus 6LOLA+ 3/8" 300 psi hose.

That's funny, in a sad kind of way, probably just so they can charge more.

Looks like it is the correct hose for these kind of fittings.
