You MUST use the recommended Hose !! I quote "Designed for fuel, oil, and water lines (not brake, nitrous, or power steering systems), these fittings must be used with Push-Loc or Twist-Lok hose. So easy in fact that it seems odd that it is advertised at 250psi with just a spring type clamp. I'll give it a shot though. I won't be firing this engine for a month or 2.
