nice little website you go there. very spiffy... but it really doesnt help me much, seeing as how i have a 5th gen.. may i suggest you put a set on a 5th gen and make a site for that (since you are so very good) and use my car as the example! :D

Yeh, thanks for the support. Unfortunately my parents dont see much of a future in being a mechanic.. and with the grades i have (all A's in highschool so far) they're pushing me to pursue a math career.. which i wont mind either.. so i'm looking into becoming some form of mechanical engineer and someday designing the new car parts.
Wishful thinking, but It would be cool to do.

Great progress on your Elky, Jordan! Keep it up and get that engine compartment finished.

Glad you're getting great grades in school. As far as careers go, the happiest and most successful people are those who do what they love. Not everyone has to go to college and become an engineer. Even doing that doesn't mean you have to work a lifetime as an engineer. A good mechanic who is honest and fair with his customers will never lack for steady work. And that can lead to owning your own shop with many employees, and a good living for you. Look at all the angles before making a final choice. I can't think I've ever met an "unemployed" auto mechanic, but many of my friends are unemployed -- and unemployable -- mechanical and nuclear engineers! Go figure! Best of luck on your car.
