What is the original factory color of the rear interior metal wall (behind the seats) of a 1970 ElCamino with black interior? I'm also in need of knowing the color of the shelf immediately below the rear window on the same vehicle. I'm not certain, but I'm guessing that the rear wall area would have been painted a similar semi-gloss black to that of the firewall and the rear window-shelf would be a gloss black. If anyone knows the correct answers to these questions, please reply a.s.a.p. Thanks guys.

I won't say that I know for sure, but I think those are in body color. At least on my '70 back wall and that "hat-shelf" are in same color as the whole body. Although I guess mine was originally with brown interior with brown exterior. .02 worth.

Mine is black, but my "70" has black interior and exterior, so I'm not sure either. Sorry!

mines was the original body color but is now black... outside is red and interior is saddle, but im going to cover it up eventually with a sub enclosure wall so it doesnt matter... im pretty sure its the body color tho because mine was originally a gold color and before painting the wall black it was a faded gold color
