How many members do we have on this site from Maryland and Virginia ? I see many of the other regions planning cruises and meets and I feel that we should be planning also. Let me hear from you members that feel the same way!!! Let me know where you live and maybe we can get something organized? Looking forward to it!

hey don,just got the elky runnin.I agree lets meet.I figured everybody was still tryin to get things together on thier rides.I was supposto be in va next week,but the wife is going instead,If EVERYBODY CAN FIGURE OUT SOMEPLACE IM OPEN FOR THE NEXT 2 WEEKS.

Some potential events come to mind... in Ocean City: during their Springfest, they have cars cruise in to the inlet parking lot....we could meet there. Or, the last weekend in June, the Southern Delaware Street Rod Assn. has a large car show at the Harrington Fairgrounds......we could also meet there, I think the show is open to various years....O.C. would probably be less formal and I'll find out the dates of their Springfest...but in the meantime...we need to find out where our members are coming from and some ideas from them on where we could meet.
Good start with our dialogue, but we need to get something going or before we know it, summer will be gone...

The onLy problem i have with oc is we will never find parking.plus i believe they limit what years are allowed to enter.i know mines not ready for paint or show yet.LeTS SEE WHAT ELSE WE CAN COME UP WITH.I posted to every body but not to many responces.

how about a BBQ at my house? i have done this before with some friends, where i live has a great pavilion to BBQ in , i just have to reserve it. i live at

i have plenty of parking(about 20 vehicles) i also have the grills and BBQ stuff all you all have to do is tell me when and BYO food, drinks, and anything else you all want to bring.

my place is kid friendly lots of playgrounds, so bring the family.

Matt - I have checked our master list of NECOA members and found at least 100 members in MD and Va. I can fax or mail you a list of your regional members with their email addresses...if they included this info on their ECC member profiles. What Jay Levitan and I have done here in NEW ENGLAND is to add each of these names and email addresses to a group list on our home computers and use it to send notices to all local members about events, cruises, general news, etc. When new members join, we just add their names to this mailing list. It's not perfect, but it gives us 75-80% coverage the folks we want to reach.

As a first, get-acquainted step, that offer of a barbeque sounds like a great idea to get some key people together and really come up with a list of local events to attend at various locations around your region!

This option is available to all other regional directors or groups who want to contact other members in their area to get something started. All you need to do is email me with a request and provide me with a fax number or mailing address for me to reply to.
