Short notice but...just a thought.

Every Friday evening there is a HUGE car show in Pleasant Hill. It is at a small shopping area. Howie's Hoagie's sponcers this thing. This has really taken off and is getting bigger and bigger. Hot Rods and cool American Muscle cars of every make! More than a hundred cars for sure depending on weather.

I am going to be there this Friday night with my boys and their bowties. Anyone that is in the area love to meet and park the Elkys. I know "James84elky" and "Dennis68" are in my same area. If not this Friday maybe another!

Contra Costa Blvd, then up Taylor to Morello. Its on the corner.

Yep, short notice but lets see. Like in the movie Blues Brothers... I'm in the North East, its a nice night out, Mapquest says it is only 3042.49 miles and travel time is 45 hours, 19 minutes. I have a full tank of gas and two or three cassette tapes for tunes (no CD player). One pack of smokes, it is night out, and I'm wearing sun glasses.

I smell a road trip coming on......

I've been looking for others who are infected with the elky illness. I'm in Livermore, CA and only know of the Chevelle club to the south and older bowties locally.
As soon as I finish my roof resto (rust), I will be there!
