I have a 1985 El Camino that I purchased a few weeks ago. I found out that the parking brake cables had been ripped out. I bought all three cable assemblies but realized that there are parts that are missing that connects them together. And there is a bracket that I think is missing. I'm trying to find a good picture of the routing of the cables or a detailed diagram. Can anyone help out?

There should be a bracket that connects the cable from the handle to the cables in the rear. I beleive I have the bracket, Ill check.

I've been doing some research and found that what I am missing is the parking brake equalizer. So far I have had no luck in finding one on the web. Does anyone have a source or is this going to be a part that I need to find at a savage yard?

I was able to get a complete GM shop manual for my Elky. The diagram in the book shows the equalizer, but it doesn't look like the equalizers that I'm seeing. A good picture would be worth a thousand words right now.
