Why the Blue Amino? Well, one of the front fender emblems lost the "El C", leaving simply "amino" (see the avatar). A new set of emblems is on the way, but I think the name will stick. She has a 350 engine and a TH350 transmission. Overall, she's fairly stock, and I'd like to slowly update her while keeping a mostly stock look. It's also my chance to learn a little about fixing up cars. I've never done any significant work on a car before, but I'm hoping to learn a little along the way without screwing it up too badly.

I've already gotten some help from folks here, and I'm looking forward to learning more. Seems like there are a lot of good folks who have knowledge to share, and I am appreciative of that.

Thanks for the warm welcome folks! I've seen some nice looking Elky's in the photo gallery. Mine is looking okay for now, and I'm hoping to work on making her a reliable and fun family truck.
