Donny No Plan 01-16-2011, 03:11 PM Here is a pic of the 85 getting the LT1 swap. I had it for several years. The trans shelled in 2004 & it's been sitting ever since! I just moved it to this garage, changed hoods, wheels & started the lowering process. It will have air bags & dropped spindles. I have what I believe (how can I find out for sure?) to be a 93 or 94 LT1 from a B-body (70k miles) stock at this time, also a 85 700r4 trans, & a Painless wire loom, headers, & a Qk Perf. 9" rear housing w/ no cntr sec. I haven't pulled the 305 or trans yet. I got it from a guy that winters in Arizonia, so it's rust free. I used to do some custom painting, so I will probably paint it after the engine swap if it turns out to be reliable. I just retired so now I can do some of my projects!.... OH!!!!Sorry, I'm too damn old & stupid to get pics to post with this- insert image- not like what I've done in the past & can't figure it out yet. Will work on that !
