Does anyone have a Dakota Digital gauge set up on there instrument panel? If so, what do you think them?

The Dakota Digital guages are very good. Personally I prefer analog guages--I think they look better and actually are easier to read than digital guages. A digital guage has to be "read", with analog guages you can give a quick glance at the dashboard and you will instantly know if any of the needles are out of place (not in the normal zone). Studies have actually been made at nuclear plants control boards that confirm this. Of course digital guages with warning lites/buzzes negate this advantage. However I think most oldtimers like me like analog and the younger guys who grew up with digital devives prefer them.

Does anyone know of a company that has a analog set up that is already made to fit the instrument panel of an '81 Elky (Speedo, tach, oil & water,
battery etc.)? Then again, I could just get another Elky speedodometer add a tach and go with oil, water & battery gauges on the A-pillar.

You would think that someone would already be producing such a dash guage setup but before I made my own I looked pretty hard and couldn't find any. I think that it's just a matter of time before someone does start production.

I keep hearing roumers that Covens is working on something but the date seems to pushed back all the time.

I also looked for something else before I made my own, just nothing really out there that I liked.
