Does anyone know where I can get this at. The window handle is suppose to have a spring that gets depressed when you insert the tool. Or does anyone know a good trick to take it off without the proper tool?

Autozone, not the best place to buy tools. It's about $5.00. Even comes with instructions, easy to use.

If you loose the spring clip don't sweat it, you can get them in the Help section at most parts stores.

I've done battle with the clips and tools for years. The wash rag tip is one of the handiest tips yet! It works great with a shop towel as well.

Saving the five bucks is great, but not hurting the door panel and getting the clip off in about 2 seconds is the best part of all!

Thanks for the tip. I might try the rag tip, but will probably buy the tool for the future.

Thanks

What I've used to take the clips off the handles is I used a thin but long flathead screwdriver then I gave it a nice little curve so I can pry the clip off without damaging the door panel. I gotta try the rag idea next time I take yhe door panels off tho, sounds like a good trick
