86, 125C Trans. So far I installed in the case, the: bearing , selective washer, diffirential carrier assembly, bearing , sun gear, bearing, ring gear, spacer and the thick snap ring [0.092" approx] in the groove. When I put my fingers on the ring gear ,and turn it around back and forth, it moves a lot very easy in the splines in the case, which makes noise when the ring gear splines hit the side of the splines in the case. Is this normal ?. There is no wear in the splines in the case or the ring gear. Or this is not normal and need to put some thing if available [ anti clunk] like the one used to hold tight the center support in the 350 Trans when the case splines are worn.
