Saw a nice looking 5th gen coming up the pike this morning. Black with red pinstripes and cowl hood. He didn't look over when I came up beside him so I could give the thumbs up and show an NECOA card. That would have been recogniseable to another member. I slowed to let him catch up but he got off at the 'Alligator Alley' exit.

Was the man driving it a older man and did the car have dark tinted windows if so it may be the gentleman that works at advance discount auto in deland. I see it sitting at the parts store all the time when i go by. I asked him if he needed any parts for it one time and he was quick to say nope its all done lol.

4 - After I had posted the above it hit me that Randy probably was not driving his Caballero which explains why a elky driver would not give a beemer a side glance.

Uh yes on the tinted windows...Yes on similar age to most of us...except Steve...lol Bearded...If that helps. Yes Tony I was traveling 'incognito' in the Beemer. One hand on the wheel and one hand trying to wave...I opted against using my forehead to honk the horn because my jet black paint would not be an exact match to his.

That's what Niel calls him but I forget his member name, I think you would have noticed his car because he rides/likes Harleys and it's noticeable on his car with some decals.

As I zeroed in from a distance, it was the 5th gen curved rear windshield and the tail lights that first caught my eye....Just all black with red pinstriping...Red El camino SS And Bowtie...Chrome bumper (No rolled rear setup)....Uh...Tinted windows and eyes fixed forward driver....He hit the 595 exit so maybe he is a West coaster and was headed back to that other side of the state.

The guy from deland isn't a member i dont believe, and now that i think of it his elky has 2 red racing stripes on the hood and tailgate.

Nope not the one Steve...There are members who are not active and we want to reach out to them as well as recruit new ones. I am hoping to drive mine on more of my regular trips down to Miami and back this year and attend some local cruises and such in the area. And I do not see ghosts! Lol
