Yeah, us florida guys really need to get something going. How many of us are there anyways? A little organization would be good. I heard our director goes to the rod runs, i didn't make it this past time, but will be there next time, hopefully with the elky in good enough condition to bring with me

"wonder if i can find any sweet crap to put on my car this year lol."

Thats what i'm hoping for to. I live in Daytona beach so i'll be there for sure next year, this year i didn't even get to go because i was so broke i didn't have the 10 bucks to get in, lol. If i have the extra money, and the elky is looking good enough, i might try to pay the extra to bring the car in at the next one, would be cool to have just an ECC section

I would like to make the Rod Run this year as well, if I can get my 72 in the 'shape' I want it by then...

hey I am also wondering - since this is the region 6 forum - if any of you guys can recommend a real good body shop from like Orlando to Tallahassee, but not much farther.

I know there are PLENTY in that region as there are here in Jacksonville, but I am only finding a few that I might trust with my paint and body work.

I guess I am really looking for someone who does full service and appreciates and takes good care of classics, ya know? Not just any shop. I mean I dont want to spend a mint on this, but I will be willing to pay a good price for a quality job...

well i know a guy in Haines city who loves classics, owns a few himself and does his own projects. he's got a piant and body shop, Haine's City Paint & Body, i dunno if thats too far for you or anything but this guy is really trustworthy and he does a great job and stuff, ive seen his work and i used to work there over the summer so i saw a lot of what went on in there and they really do take care of teh cars and paint em up nicely. i dont know how much it'll cost but prolly just liek any otehr paint & body shop. he's a good guy though, they all are, just check them out if you like.

I wish i knew of some places, i don't have enough money to even be thinking about getting body work done, lol. Maybe one day i'll be able to though, who knows
