I'm swapping my 355 in my El Camino for my newly re-built 383 Stroker. I plan on snatching it out next month,weather pending. The 355 pulls extra hard plus its coming with all accessories. The only thing it will need is all new gaskets. Personally I would rebuild it before install just so you wont have any worries. It has a custom built sleeper/cheater cam in it now built by an old guy I knew a couple years ago.(cant hear but can feel it)

UPDATE!
I still haven't pulled my 355. I'm painting it now but the paint takes 4-6 weeks to cure and dry since I'm applying multiple coats. The price is 450.00 but since I don't need the engine,Its really negotiable!

The 355 is up for sale again. I planned on selling it to another member but things changed on his end. It's still in my car since it's my daily driver. I had a little issue with it last month when my alternator belt got caught in the fan and overheated it. I put Blue Devil in it because it seemed like coolant was getting in the oil but Blue Devil sealed up everything and its back to pulling strong with clear oil. This was the only time this engine overheated. The price was 500 with extra parts included but its negotiable. The lowest I will go is 450 with extra parts included.

355 with sleeper cam still for sale!!!! The price is 450.00 obo. Its still in the car until next week or so,but it will come with an Edelbrock intake and headers. The alternator,starter,and carb will be removed and are not included in the sale of the engine. The water pump,distributor,cap,rotor,fan clutch are new and are still under warranty.The Edelbrock valve covers and air cleaner are not included but stock valve covers and air cleaner is.
