I need someone elses opinion on something because i can not make up my mind.. I am thinking about running two amps and i need your opinion on how i should go about it to get the right sound without a bunch of distortion. I have two 12's so i do not need bass, i just need the sound to match it. I have two kenwood 6.5's up front that are 180 watts max and two 6x9s in back that are 500 watts max. how many watts should the amp be for best sound? how would i go about wiring two amps? should i use an equalizer? and lastly, will two amps kill my alternator? that you for your opinions :nanawrench:

awesome. thank you. Im glad it wont hurt anything cuz I love having a system, but a system is useless if your car is broke down lol.

i run 2 amps with a 100 amp circuit breaker and a 2 farad capacitor by the amps, helps keep the lights from dimming when the bass hits. :smileyb:
