Hey Ernie. Let me check the calendar at home before I commit one way or another.

Looks like I got some "family" stuff to do Sunday morning. Depending on what time I get done will determine if I can make it to the swap meet.

Maybe I'll run into you guys there.

Hello David. A swap meet is basically where people take all their old car parts and bring them to one central place to sell or trade. There is usually a promoter that rents a field or a racetrack. The promoter charges people who bring parts to sell a "vendors fee" and charges people who just come to look and buy parts a "spectator fee".

Sometimes you can find a really hard to find part at a swap meet and can ask the person who is selling it for information on it and you can also negotiate on the selling price.

By the way, you’re located in Region 2 of ECC/NECOA. I'll make sure you are added to the Region 2 email list, if you’re not already on it.

Thanks and hope it helps.

...what is a swap meet?
Welcome to ECC David. An automotive swap meet is an informal gathering of car and truck enthusiasts for the barter or sale of new and used automotive parts. It's where grown men with pockets full of cash regress to their youth and pull their kids little red wagon around in hopes of filling it with used automotive treasures. And as of recently, it's where some men go to brag about how much they sold a NOS 1955 GM "widget" for on ebay.
