You might look up the Chevelle site online. They may have a forum with info on the '66 brake conversions.

As a stock upgrade or performance ? There is a lot of different combinations that work . 68 to 72 chevelle 68 to 74 nova 67 to 69 camaro the 68 to 82 corvette brakes work or you could go big brake from c5 vette or c6 and its pretty cheap to do as a matter of fact it costs about the same as a stock disc brake kit . What size wheel are you using .Ifyou have 14 or 15 " wheels your choices are limited . 16" wheel can use a 12" rotor . I put up a post probably in the wrong section its in the build section on a big brake swap . If you have any questions feel free to pm me .
