Are there any San Antonio area members interested in driving together up to Belton , for the Texas Invite on May 14 ? I live in Live Oak off of topperwein Rd. and I-35 N , I plan on leaving my house around 8:00 - 8:30 am heading out I-35 N that morning if the weather is dry .... I gotta make sure she wants to stay over nite or not because of the pets .... I have four weiner dogs and its hard to find a motel / hotel that will allow pets without paying an arm and a leg to stay ..... so let me know folks if your interested caravaning to Belton .... May is a long way to plan anything in my family. you can pencil me in, but cannot commit to anything. work trips during the week, kids sports on weekends. I can't even find the time to go fishing.

I vote for an 0830 departure time from Biff's. Everyone around SA knows where that is & it should be easy in, easy out that time of day. Sounds like we will need to set up a rendezvous somewhere around Austin to collect up the rest of folks using 35N.
Am traveling alone so I can be flexible, just need to know the plan.

I'm guessing about 45 Min. to drive to get to Buda to meet Mark and about 45 min. to meet up with some more members in Round Rock , thats if the traffic in Austin is not toooo crazy that morning . anybody else will need to let us know WHERE AND WHEN to meet on I-35 N ... lets just see what everybody else says what time is good for them OK .... keep in touch .... I'll be coming from 281/Bitters area just north of the airport. It's usually a 20-25 minute drive on Friday eves but should be less early on Saturday AM.

If we leave Biff's at 0830 sharp, we should have no problem making Belton before lunch even with stops in Buda & Round Rock. Saturday traffic on 35 usually doesn't pick up until mid morning.

As we get closer to May, maybe you can send us your cell number in case we have to do any last minute coordination.
