I purchased a set of rear control arm bushings from the El Camino Store and first off they charged me for the individual bushings instead of the set which was what I ordered, so that cost me more! Then I take them to the local mechanic to have them pressed in and he cannot do it! They were .015 larger than the existing mounts. Total BS!! So much to my displeasure we agreed to reem the control arms instead of risking another $110 on junk bushings. Then went to the local NAPA and talked with the counterman and alot of the main parts for 1960 Chevys are still available over the counter at half or less than The El Camino Store's prices.(They do not offer the bushings though). Just search the NAPA site and you will be pleasantly surprised. Spread the word, support your local NAPA (Don't buy rear control arm bushings from The El Camino Store) It's almost cheaper to buy a new tubular set!!!
