I had a body shop remove a fender and my hood(both jammed after an accident), and they also took off my horn(s). I never paid too much attention to where they went, and now I can't quite figure out the configuration on my '82 Elky. I know this is a real lightweight problem, but I don't want to self tap them in, I'd like the horns to look right when i raise the hood. I have restored about every other aspect of this wonderful machine, and I'm looking for some help with the placement. Please let me know the benefit of your vast knowledge.

On my 87 Elky, the horns [ 2] are located on the drivers side on the inside of the fender. There should be holes already in your fender for mounting the horns.
My holes are about 5in. from the back side of the Rad support and the first hole in the fender is 3in down from the top of the fender and the second is right below about 5in from top of fender. You should have the wiring somewhere close to this area. Also the brkt on the horns are already threaded for bolting. Your 82 may be the same, hope this helps.
