Just watched Overhauling on TLC and they did a killer job on a 71 Chevelle. If you're able to watch next week their supposed to be doing a 5th gen Elky.
This ought to be GOOD 8O It's on tuesday evening......

I watched the program also. The ElCamino they are going to overhaul is actually a 4th gen. Should be interesting to see what they are going to do with it.
Jeff @ OPG SUX! Did you see all the cool stuff they slapped on his car? The paint job, the engine, the suspension, the body work all in a weeks time! Where do I sign up?

Yeah they did a fantastic job on the chevelle. A 4th gen is better yet for me :D I've just about got mine down to the frame, looks like I'll be recording this one for ideas. I'm curious on how the dash will be done, should prove interesting.
I told the better half she should call these guys while I'm on the road, they would only have to put mine together, half the work is done
Did you see all the cool stuff they slapped on his car? Not to mention, they didn't even show us the new interior and dash they installed...

Chevy Rumble magazine did an article on the chevelle. WOW...one fine piece of vintage iron. They did the job right in a week where it takes us normal wrenches months to years to get those results. 8O

I couldn't believe my eyes watching that much amazing work come together like that. What a transformation!! I have my phone set to remind me about next week already!!! That will be one to see. Anyone else have to answer to your wives or girlfriends how they can do this in just a week when we do body work and block sand for weeks?!! Let alone everything else... AWESOME

When they were getting new parts and gave him his old ones back I was LMAO. He was probably thinking....cool I can use these on my car! My wife and I tried to figure out how many man hours total it took to build and we figured it to be around 2800 man hours(20 guys working 20 hours a day for 7 days).
I don't think it would be easy to get on that show. I think you have to know people. Take for example the guy last night,he works for OPG. The guy the week before was some dude who was involved in So Cal hot rod scene. Still it would be definatly awesome to get your car done over by those guys. It seems they don't skimp or cut corners even though they are under the gun.
That 4th gen. should be interesting. About time the 4th gen. got some loving. Anyone been noticing the influx in all the car shows? I almost never watch the tube, but lately I've been hooked on all these car shows. It's a gearheads dream!
